Kew Sparkle 2013 raises over £3k for charity

Kew’s annual family fun-filled evening, Kew Sparkle, took place on 6th December 2013 and was a roaring success.  Father Christmas arrived on his sleigh and met Richmond’s mayoress, the Christmas lights glistened, carol singers from the local schools filled the air with festive songs, there were street entertainers, plenty of side stalls, mulled wine and refreshments for all as the shops stayed open late and local residents came in their hundreds to enjoy the evening.  Thanks go to the local traders who, not only fund the event, but also work extremely hard to organise and facilitate this fabulous event.

Kew Sparkle is a charity event and this year’s chosen charity was The Victoria Foundation, a Richmond based charity providing life enhancing medical assistance.  Kew Sparkle is proud to have raised almost £3000 for the charity and to have provided invaluable support for this excellent cause.
